The dining room is tiny (so there aren't many seats, be sure to book!), but the food is very good, the ingredients are fresh, the welcome is friendly, and the service is fast.

I had to leave a review for this little place. I stumbled upon it on a Sunday evening and was warmly welcomed. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the ingredients, served in an Asian tapas style 😋. The portions seemed small, but there was enough to leave me feeling satisfied. As a cooking show would say, it's REALLY, REALLY GOOD 😉

Exquisite cuisine in a charming and centrally located spot in Saint Jean d’Angély. The service is quick and very pleasant. The ingredients are locally sourced, bought from the market right across the street. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Hotel Restaurant de la Place

04/12/2024: I don't know the hotel. My opinion therefore concerns only the restaurant. I have been traveling the Chte Maritime for over 30 years and I can say that the restaurant at the Hôtel de la Place offers exceptional value for money. The products are cooked with care, the presentation of the dishes is refined, the flavor combinations are sometimes original and ALWAYS relevant. Real taste discoveries. Only happiness. The owner of the establishment and his chef are great professionals who do honor to their profession. The wines offered are also tasty. I recommend without the slightest restraint!!!!
29/11/2024: Very nice hotel, very comfortable and tastefully decorated room, very clean. Excellent value for money.
