Le Petit Chalet sur Cours-La-Ville

02/01/2026: We were warmly welcomed by the owner and the waiter Stéphane, who was very pleasant, professional, and humorous. It was a great New Year's Day! The festive buffet was very generous and excellent. It's a shame about the main course: they were out of vol-au-vent, so it was served on a rather heavy half-burger, even though we had booked well in advance. The person who had chosen chicken with sweetbreads and chestnuts (there was no sweetbreads or chestnuts, and the portion was very small – needs improvement). The cheese course was perfect, as was the dessert: a sphere with chocolate caramel mousse (out of 8 people, none of them tasted the caramel?!). The wines and aperitifs were perfect. The setting was very nice; we had a pleasant meal apart from these two points. One last small detail: the short-haired brunette waitress was not very pleasant – not a word or a smile! Room for improvement.
