Le Petit Chez Soi sur Saugues

We went there for my mom's birthday. Very good address. The dishes are very good. The food is homemade. Thanks also to the two waitresses who took great care of us. Good discovery. Thanks again to the whole team and a special word to the cook because the food was really excellent.

The starters were good, the main course... very salty meat, bland rice... (Spider pork, normally eaten grilled, served in a creamy stew...) runny panna cotta... mixed!!!

Friendly welcome, very efficient service. However, the food isn't fantastic... certainly not expensive either: €16 for starter/main course/dessert is very reasonable, but we didn't enjoy it. The starter was good: salad, poached egg, ham. The main course was okay: inedible lamb, much too strong, ham very good, the side dish didn't match what was advertised, namely ratatouille rice, and instead we got bulgur couscous. Dessert wasn't great: extremely dry blueberry roll, it looked like it had been made the day before... In short, if there's nothing else, it's okay, but don't go there on purpose.

Home-style cooking with simple but very good dishes. The quantity isn't huge, but for 20 euros, we left feeling full. The waitress bends over backwards for you. There are two or three starters to choose from, two main courses, and two or three desserts. It's not gourmet, but it's good.

A nice little restaurant with a very friendly waitress. The food was very good, but it's a shame there were only two choices for starter, main course, and dessert. Prices were very reasonable.
