Le Petit Poucet is a restaurant which seems to have a well-established regular clientele, benefiting from a particularly attentive welcome. For new customers, however, the attention span may seem more limited, which can create a sense of distance. In terms of cuisine, it's almost faultless: the dishes perhaps lack a little originality, but they are impeccably executed, with fresh, seasonal and local products, which is always a real plus. The atmosphere, for its part, could benefit from modernity, and the service, although correct, does not always reach the level of attention that one would expect in this type of establishment. An interesting place for a reliable culinary experience, but which could appeal more with a little more originality and dynamism in the welcome.

To avoid 😱 reservation not recorded * As soon as we arrived, 8 people were informed that there were only 2 monkfish left. * out of 5 starters ordered (leeks vinaigrette without vinaigrette) 😩 only 4 starters will be served we request the 5th 😢 * we order 6 scallops and 2 monkfish All the dishes will arrive cold only the plates were hot the potatoes accompanying the monkfish will not even be cooked 😩 We order 7 desserts only 6 will be served we inform the waiter surprised, we abandon the 7th dessert 😩 3 bottles of wine 4 bottles of water The bill was necessarily high, too much compared to what we ate? No apology despite several comments 👎

Good morning The setting is very nice and the food is simple and very good. But I'm disappointed because I ordered a cake for 5 people and they brought us a cake for eight. We were charged 12 euros for the share. But when we asked for an additional portion we were told that this was not possible.

Except for the small portion of accompaniment for the prime rib, (compared to other similar restaurant experiences) we really liked it. Thank you very much 🙏

Very good restaurant suitable for families for lunch.

We brought American friends here for a very pleasant evening. We started with the St.-Marcellin roti à partager, a small portion, but just enough for people who usually avoid entrées. For plats, two of us had moules marinières, very good, and two had dorade, very, very good. The dorade was accompanied by sugar snap peas (much better than the haricots verts on the printed menu) and the moules were accompanied by the best frites imaginable. Desserts: the pain perdu and the chou caramel were both very good; the gateaux chocolat was good. All of this was accompanied by an excellent St.-Emiion grand cru, expensive, but excellent.

Je n'arrive pas à comprendre les avis défavorables sur ce restaurant chez qui nous allons dîner 2 à 3 fois par mois depuis de nombreuses années. Effectivement ce n'est pas un gastro, mais c'est tout de même un bon restaurant. En bord de Seine, il est agréable. Le service est rapide et pro. La nourriture est bonne, et très important à mes yeux, c'est un restaurant qui met encore des nappes sur les tables, ce qui est de plus en plus difficile à trouver dans cette gamme de prix! Et même dans des restaurants beaucoup plus chers !! Donc rien de négatif. D'ailleurs le restaurant était plein alors qu'il y a beaucoup de tables. Nous y retourneront, bien sur.
