Le Petit Rolin sur Autun

A truly wonderful discovery. I arrived late, just as the kitchen was closing. Despite this, the chef kindly agreed to reopen his stoves especially to prepare a meal for me. This gesture of generosity and professionalism deserves to be highlighted. The meal was simply exceptional: high-quality ingredients, generous portions, perfectly executed and bursting with flavor. You can taste the passion and expertise in every dish. A huge thank you also to the entire kitchen team and staff for their warm welcome, kindness, and attentiveness. I was never made to feel like I was late; quite the opposite, in fact: I was greeted with a smile and genuine care. Establishments like Le Petit Roland are becoming rare. People come here for the delicious food, but they return above all for the warmth, the chef's passion, and the quality of the service. An address I recommend without hesitation.

The restaurant does not have an extensive vegetarian selection (like the neighboring restaurant), but if you ask the very friendly and helpful staff, you will get a wonderful and delicious vegetarian meal that would not look out of place in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Thank you

Beautiful setting, excellent food and very pleasant waiters

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at a surprisingly competitive price, with a beautiful view of the Lazarus Cathedral. The service was warm, attentive, and professional. An extra tip: feel free to let the waiter choose the wine. They clearly know their menu better than you or I and know perfectly which wine pairs with every dish. That made our evening complete. Highly recommended!

Dinner Sunday evening on the terrace at the foot of the cathedral. Very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent meal. We had a very enjoyable time.

Extremely friendly and attentive staff who even took care of the dog's water. A large wine list with open wines, which aren't cheap but are very good. The crêpes were excellent. We went twice, and the first time we were simply allowed to have a drink, even though it was lunchtime – accompanied by the staff singing pleasantly in the kitchen.

I had the pleasure of discovering Le Petit Rollin yesterday. A wonderful welcome, a very pleasant and attentive waitress, and a truly friendly owner with delicious gougères. A fantastic team! If you're passing through Autun or live in the area, don't hesitate, go for it without a second thought!
