Very warm welcome and impeccable service. We each ordered a tapas platter for €15 each; more than enough for a good meal; very reasonable prices. I recommend it.

THE café on the Left Bank, the Café des Palavasiens. Fishermen, jousters, rugby players, pétanque players... Everyone meets there. Many jousting competition prizes are awarded there during the summer season. Light and good food (tapas). Super-friendly staff. The conversation can get a bit loud sometimes, and a lot of silly things are said in good humor, so it's definitely a good place in Palavas-les-Flots! Happy hour from 5 p.m. to whatever time it is.

This place is cool. A great spot to people watch and have a cocktail. The match between France and Poland was on TV. I had two gin and tonics: €14. Super. Staff was very cordial and forgiving regarding my lack of command of the French language. You'll feel right at home. It's near one of the canals, so you can stroll and look at the boats.

11/12/2025: I visited this bakery twice during my vacation and was able to try both the snacks and the pastries. I have no complaints about either. The staff were patient, attentive, and offered helpful advice, which I appreciated. The portions are generous, sometimes a little uneven, but this is a testament to the homemade nature of the pastries. A special mention goes to the flan and the Tropézienne tart 🍰 – they were generous and delicious, unlike the frozen versions you find everywhere. I was able to eat in both the inside and outside, and the atmosphere and service were excellent. I highly recommend it.
03/11/2025: Eugène Bakery in Palavas-les-Flots is a real gem. Located right across from the canal, it boasts a lovely terrace perfect for enjoying a coffee and some delicious pastries. The setting is pleasant, the service is friendly, and everything is fresh and homemade. Perfect for a sweet treat in the sunshine!
