Of course, the wine list is exceptional! It's hard to find anything better in this category of restaurant. The food is very good; I ordered a classic, and it was really excellent. The dessert was a bit more conventional (homemade? I'm not sure). But the price is a bit too high, and the portions a little small. I ended up paying over €40 for a beef bourguignon, a mille-feuille, and a 20cl ginger beer, and I was still hungry: it was very good, but expensive. The service was very friendly.

On the plate, the cuisine lives up to the wines on offer: generous, authentic, with perfectly executed cooking that showcases the high quality of the ingredients. My first experience at Le Petit Sommelier; the art deco setting is truly beautiful. It was a quick lunch, but everything was perfect, from the food to the service. I'll be back to explore their magnificent wine list…

The food was very good, even if the portions weren't quite generous. The rum baba was excellent! The crème brûlée was a failure. The service needs improvement; for a restaurant called "Le Petit Sommelier," not offering a wine tasting before serving is a rookie mistake. Overall, the quality-price-service ratio wasn't there.

We had booked for 7 people, but unfortunately, the table wasn't ready when we arrived. The service was too slow (perhaps an oversight or a problem in the kitchen?). The waiters were professional, but the place lacked the warmth of a "bistro." As for the food: the beef bourguignon, octopus, and other dishes were excellent! A major disappointment was the passion fruit crème brûlée (which can't even be called that). Of the four we ordered, all were runny... a complete disaster, but they served it anyway, which is a shame. The rum baba was excellent and served with a nice bottle of rum!

Lovely restaurant with some interesting dishes. I tried the octopus with barely and it was delicious as was the gravy from the beef boulevard but the beef itself was a little tough and the bread solid! Nice wine and cafe with a friendly server.

The escargot , grilled octopus & beef rib steak were excellent . Paired with a nice red ( domaine Jamet equivoque 2022) and walking distance from Pullman hotel . Merci for a great first night in Paris !

Really good place very close to Gare Montparnasse. The food was excellent and the wine list was amazing. The staff was competent and observant. What's not to like!

No frills, very good food and a very warm welcome, I just found the snails a little expensive.
