Le Petit Sommelier sur Paris

The food is decent. The wine list is amazing.

So fun and welcoming even with our limited Francais (note: google translate really helps us be good guests). The busy Paris bistro experience at its best. Truly exhaustive wine list, with hidden gems for "reasonable" prices, I found a PC17 that was stunning. I was undecided on entre, went with staff suggestion, which was awesome! My partner went with "the best burger I've ever had". Easy uber access. My wine friends had recommended them highly and I concur!

My bff and I took a short trip to Paris (side quest after a more extended stay in London to see Harry Styles at Wembley). We stayed at the Hotel de Paris Montparnasse (basically next door to Le petit sommelier de Paris). It couldn't have been more perfect!! Both the hotel AND this restaurant were peak in hospitality, quality and vibe!! We actually ate here 2 times during our short stay! Their special was actually a mushroom ravioli in a creamy pesto sauce! It was smack your momma good! The beef bourguigon was to die for! There was also a fish dish that I really wanted to get, alas... we ran out of time. But I saw multiple patrons enjoying it and after all the other items we tried, I have zero doubt it would have equally blown my mind. This was my first (and probably last) trip to Paris. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity / bucket list item. Paris did not disappoint... and this restaurant was the cherry on top! Thanks to all the staff who made the experience one to remember!

The portions are generous and the service is good. You should definitely check it out. No regrets on my end.

Delicious food and friendly staff, the only downside is that they only accept French cards, so bring cash!

Le Petit Sommelier was a memorable dining experience during our stay in Paris. Classic French cuisine and the food was thoughtfully prepared. What truly set this experience apart was their wine program. Not only was there an extensive wine list but if you are looking for rare or limited production French wines, this is the place.

Food was impeccable. We had the ratatouille, creme broulee and a cherry tart with pistachio ice cream. French wine to start and cognac to finish. Took a little time to get waited on but we showed up without reservation and we're seated right away. Price reasonable. We do not speak French but could read the menu and communicate with the staff. I highly recommend Le Petit Sommelier de Paris.

Excellent service, a delicious selection of typical French dishes, and what can I say about the wine list (one of the finest in the capital). Well done again, Pierre, and to your team. Highly recommended.
