Le Pharynx sur Grignan

Beautiful garden, lovely place, the most beautiful view of the Château de la Sévigné. We arrived for lunch without a reservation, even though it was listed as fully booked online, but they never turn anyone away, and luckily so! The food is delicious and the view between the garden and Grignan is magical.

A truly wonderful experience at La Ferme Chapouton in Grignan. The setting is magnificent, with an elegant and soothing ambiance that allows you to truly escape the everyday. The terrace and the view over the village make the place even more enjoyable. The dishes are excellent, refined, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken with each plate. The desserts are also outstanding. The service is professional and friendly, in a calm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a romantic meal or a special occasion. A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend.

We returned to this restaurant that we love, and for the first time, we were a little disappointed. The starters aren't as well-presented as they used to be; we weren't told that the lamb shoulder was no longer available. The main courses were good, but the presentation and portion sizes need improvement. €16 for five tiny asparagus spears, not even aligned, and with no effort put into them is a real shame. The €10 side dish supplements for a tiny portion of mashed potatoes... In short, a disappointment.

My second stay in this superb Hotel! Wonderful rooms with comfy beds and a short walk into the village. Excellent parking. Lovely Bistrot. Super breakfast. Highly recommended!

Good restaurant Fresh produce It's a shame the service wasn't up to par: the staff were friendly but not particularly kind; we had to ask three times for a carafe of water despite having aperitifs, the bill came to €200 for three people at lunchtime, and there were unpleasant comments about the number of starters (two for three people, one of which was à la carte and cost €23). The waiters seemed overwhelmed and out of touch, and the set menu choices were very limited (two starters, including soup...). As a result, we ordered à la carte, but the prices skyrocketed!

Excellent service and delicious food. We will be back! The setting is exceptional with a huge bay window overlooking the castle.

Thanks to a gift certificate from our children, we discovered the Chapoutou farm bistro. With the beautiful sunshine, we first enjoyed the lovely setting with its view of the castle. Then, we settled comfortably into a charming room with a cozy little wood fire. After a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail, we were able to begin our meal. I am gluten intolerant. It's best to mention this when ordering. We had indeed specified it when making our reservation, but nothing was noted. It's not a big deal in itself. But don't wait, like I did, to mention it once the dish has been served; this will prevent them from having to remake it. (Waste is bad!) However, no problem for me; the young waiter very kindly offered me the same dish without the gluten-containing ingredient. He even offered to change my starter. I greatly appreciated this courtesy. From the appetizer to the main course and dessert, everything was simply exquisite. This meal delighted our taste buds. And the portions were generous too :) (my husband said). It's worth noting that I had gluten-free bread. All the staff, the young lady and the young men, were very helpful. We had a wonderful time. Thank you to the chef and his team for these delicious dishes made with excellent ingredients, and to the waitstaff for their professionalism. We will definitely be back to eat outside when the weather is nice.

Hotel: Comfortable room. Very nice touches (water, nougat, etc.). Warm and friendly welcome. Restaurant: The 12-hour lamb is truly excellent, served with an aligot that isn't really aligot (a purée enriched with a little Tomme cheese). The pistachio and sour cherry cabbage is a success: crisp, fresh, and not too sweet. Unfortunately, the friendly service is rather inefficient: despite our requests, bread is served at the end of the meal, and the descriptions of the dishes are vague. Not a major issue, but it's noticeable in an establishment of this caliber.

We had dinner at the restaurant and were very disappointed. The service was rushed and clearly inexperienced, and the food was average at best. For the prices charged, the overall experience felt seriously overpriced. Avoid.
