Le Picrocole sur Royat

I ordered a hamburger that I absolutely do not recommend. The meat was terrible, and the cheese was so bland it was like eating plastic. The frog legs were frozen; luckily, they came with salt to season them.

Excellent restaurant. The food was very well prepared. The staff was very friendly.

We appreciated the warm atmosphere and the home-style cooking.

A last-minute reservation at 8:30 pm at this small restaurant, after a long hike: a meal served efficiently, amiably, and kindly. A very warm welcome, simple, tasty, and generous cuisine. Well done!

A very nice bistro-restaurant, pleasant service, and a great menu: you come here looking for a small place to eat "specialties," and that's exactly what you get! The biggest plus is the value for money: good, generous portions, and inexpensive. The truffade could have been a little more charred for my taste, and the back room could be a touch cozier, but most importantly, we had a great time and a delicious meal! It's wonderful to be able to eat in old Royat under these conditions.

We came to eat after an event at the Royat casino. We really enjoyed our meal, and the warm welcome was always a pleasure 😊
