Very good food with a simple but tasty menu. Several set menus are offered, including a daily special.

Everything was delicious, and Jules's descriptions of the dishes were spot-on. He knows his menu perfectly, which is a real pleasure, as his recommendations are excellent. It's everything you could want from a restaurant: good ingredients, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Just passing through, I'm delighted to have tasted Auvergne cuisine at this restaurant! I highly recommend it ;)

Perched high above Royat, this little bar and restaurant offers a menu featuring local specialties. After trying the steak, the Salers beef burger, and the truffade (a potato and cheese dish), everything truly showcases the best of our region! And all this at surprisingly reasonable prices considering the quality of the ingredients. Recommendation: Enjoy dinner on the terrace towards the end of the day, and take advantage of the streetlights coming on while you're having dessert. It creates a different atmosphere, which is lovely. For the return trip, you can always use the T2C bus lines, but those in the know will appreciate the cool evening air for a leisurely stroll—almost a necessary one! :)

While on holiday in the region, we were delighted to end our stay at this restaurant, which surpasses others, perhaps more famous, in its simplicity, authenticity, and welcoming atmosphere. Well done!

Simple but delicious cuisine, a great welcome, and above all, flexible opening hours for latecomers, unlike other restaurants in the Orcines area.

Excellent product. We thoroughly enjoyed the frog leg casserole with the steak and the truffade. And the homemade dessert was delicious.

A delightful discovery! This restaurant, located in the upper part of Royat, offers the option of sitting on a terrace right by the road (with virtually no traffic). The set menu was €29, featuring a generous truffade for one of us and a superb piece of Salers beef, cooked to perfection, for the other. Delicious desserts included a rum baba, with a bottle of rum left for guests to help themselves. The service was impeccable and attentive. Drinks were reasonably priced. Overall, excellent value for money at this restaurant, which we highly recommend.
