We received a warm welcome from the owner in his kitchen and were immediately shown to a table for two. The menu offered five dishes, including a fish option. We chose beef skewers and filet mignon (both cooked over a wood fire). They were perfectly cooked and delicious – excellent! There was no wait despite only one server assisting the owner. I commend and highly recommend this restaurant.

I'm writing this review again after visiting this restaurant 8 years ago. I was on a cycling trip along the Loire and stopped for lunch (Quebecois lunch, around midday). I tasted the best mushroom sauce of my life, and that record still stands 8 years later. I was, however, shocked to see some French people diluting their wine with water…

A warm welcome. Unique setting. Generous portions: XXL andouillette sausage with homemade fries and veal spider steak with spelt risotto and glazed carrots. For a sweet treat, custard tart and prune cream. A great place to linger.

Great restaurant with generous platters for karaoke nights and a fantastic atmosphere. The waiters, waitresses, and managers were all top-notch and professional. We'll be back.

The products were of excellent quality and plentiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The meat was marinated and cooked to perfection, and the fries and homemade sauce were delicious.

23/04/2024: Dîner en couple dans le cadre d'une nuit réservée dans cet établissement. Le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas au rendez-vous. Les plats proposés dans un menu à 49 euros avec 4 plats ne sont pas à la hauteur et les quantités dans l'assiette beaucoup trop justes. Pour le même niveau de prix, mieux vaut aller voir ailleurs
20/04/2024: L’accueil est professionnel et souriant. Les plats sont tous excellents, d’une très belle présentation et plutôt copieux. Vraiment une cuisine de très bon niveau. Le petit déjeuner est un véritable repas à lui tout seul. A ne pas manquer si vous passez par là ou venez de plus loin comme nous.

01/04/2024: Relaxing stay in this charming estate with spa located near the many vineyards of the Loire Valley and 10 minutes from Amboise. The massages are great.
30/03/2024: Very good stay. The service was very good, smiling and friendly staff. Magnificent spa for us. We were having fun. Exceptional breakfast too. Equipped room. Everything went well.
