The welcome and service were delightful. The restaurant is located in the cave, and eating underground is truly impressive. The homemade dishes were excellent, with a special mention for the pâté en croûte with its hard-boiled egg in the middle – a real treat. Serving cooked fennel as a side dish was a great idea.
The decor is a bit unusual, red and gray, perhaps too modern for the setting. A MUST-SEE.
We highly recommend it.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! We made a reservation an hour before our arrival. A restaurant open on Sundays was a real find!
The appetizers were delicious, the grilled meats were amazing, and the fries were to die for. The service was very friendly, and the setting was unique.

We received a warm welcome from the owner in his kitchen and were immediately shown to a table for two. The menu offered five dishes, including a fish option. We chose beef skewers and filet mignon (both cooked over a wood fire). They were perfectly cooked and delicious – excellent! There was no wait despite only one server assisting the owner. I commend and highly recommend this restaurant.

While passing through the area, we discovered this restaurant where everything is homemade and the owners are very friendly.
The meal was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The salmon is an absolute must-try! Excellent!

I'm writing this review again after visiting this restaurant 8 years ago. I was on a cycling trip along the Loire and stopped for lunch (Quebecois lunch, around midday). I tasted the best mushroom sauce of my life, and that record still stands 8 years later. I was, however, shocked to see some French people diluting their wine with water…

A warm welcome. Unique setting.
Generous portions: XXL andouillette sausage with homemade fries and veal spider steak with spelt risotto and glazed carrots.
For a sweet treat, custard tart and prune cream.
A great place to linger.
