We arrived as a couple without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The place has a lot of charm, and the music was great. The food arrived quickly, and the servers were very friendly and helpful; you can tell they enjoy working there, and it shows in the welcome and throughout the meal. 😀 We'll gladly return to La Pinasse Café as soon as we have the chance! 😎

While the number of cafes and restaurants on Cap Ferret is inversely proportional to the quality of their food and service, it's fair to say that Pinasse Café is an exception. Refined cuisine without being ostentatious, attentive service without being pushy. A reasonable bill considering the quality. That's rare! Especially on Cap Ferret, which is now becoming a haven for bling and ostentation.
Funny anecdote: before it was a restaurant, the house belonged to friends, and I dined many times in the garden, which is now the terrace. A return visit like a modern-day Proustian madeleine...

We came to the restaurant for lunch. I had the turbot, it was excellent! The service was pleasant, and we even bumped into and chatted with the manager, who was very friendly and approachable.

We've dined at this restaurant several times, and it's always a pleasure. Of course, there's the breathtaking view, the inventive cuisine, but above all, the staff and its manager, Pierre-Jean: welcoming, warm, always with a kind word, attentive to every detail. They remember your favorite table and your favorite dishes, they call you by name. Ultimately, you feel right at home and truly "welcome," to use Pierre-Jean's words. Thank you to him for keeping this place alive. It's so rare in such a touristy area.
