Le Pitchounet sur Arles-Sur-Tech

Os à moelle — a bit fatty & oily. Biòu des manades — a very thick chunk, quite red [i.e. raw] in the middle—not like a normal thin steak. Not to my taste honestly. Couteaux — GREAT! Pasta — Good. Still, decent price and friendly staff :)

Friendly staff doing their best, because they're so short. The food, oh dear. We ordered tellines (small clams), tuna tartare, and bull tartare. The dishes arrived without any sauce... we had to ask for it... not right. No finger bowl for the tellines, fine, we'll get up and wash our hands in the restroom. We ordered tuna with nothing, and the response was, "Excuse me, we're out of sauce, no soy, no sesame, nothing" (when you put a dish on the menu, you either own it or you don't!). No carafe of water, not even a small piece of bread. In short, for the price, it's unacceptable. We live in Arles, and we won't be back. Enjoy taking advantage of tourists' naivety!

Honestly: Very friendly and competent staff. We ate very well and we will be back!

There was a small problem in the kitchen with the dish I ordered, but the manager offered to replace it on the house. That was really kind of her. I'll definitely be back. Thanks again.

My review of Le Pitchounet I stumbled upon it by chance, and I'll definitely be back! Top-notch service: Impeccable, friendly, and remarkably fast, even when the restaurant was busy. On the plate: High-quality dishes, with a particular favorite being the grilled cuttlefish, which was simply delicious. The atmosphere: A great overall ambiance that contributes to a wonderful experience. A great find!

We came to Arles as tourists and needed a restroom. So we grabbed the first café we saw. We asked for a table inside. None were ready, but they were coming. The young woman removed her cleaning bucket and offered us one. As for the restrooms (the photo will speak for itself, especially for you ladies). The drink prices were reasonable. So, for me: an old bistro that could use a good cleaning. The display cases for the seafood are worn and scratched. There's dust (quite a bit) on all the decorations, etc. They should put in a toilet seat and repair the wall. The kitchen staff should wear uniforms and wash their hands when the young waiters leave and return.
