Le Pizzaiollo sur Sisteron

On our way to the ski resorts, this is the second time we've stopped at this restaurant to eat an excellent pizza. Everything is perfect, from the pizza oven to the table.

We stumbled upon this pizzeria, but what a treat! There were four of us, and we were all delighted. A warm welcome, friendly and quick service, and the food was all excellent, from the pasta and pizza to the andouillette sausage. I highly recommend it.

An unpretentious restaurant, but the pizzas are beautiful, delicious, and definitely not frozen! They also serve regional dishes like pieds paquets, which I'd never heard of before, and they were very well prepared. The food is well done. It's a good place, but the dining room fills up quite quickly, so I think you need to make a reservation, especially in winter (there's a terrace for warmer weather). It can also be a bit noisy when the restaurant is full. I imagine it might be nicer outside in the summer... I'll gladly go back.

Drawn in by the aroma after three days of hiking, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The menu was extensive, and the chef's suggestions were incredible. I had the venison stew with ravioli, absolutely divine; I could have easily eaten a second helping despite the generous portions! Highly recommended.
