We visit the area several times a year, and this is our favorite restaurant in Sisteron, all year round. The pizzas and other dishes are generous and excellent, and the prices are reasonable. The staff and the welcome are friendly and unpretentious. We always return with the same pleasure; we're never disappointed.

A warm and friendly welcome, with a touch of humor! That's so appreciated these days! The portions were very generous, and the ratatouille that accompanies the whole duck breast and the andouillette sausage was incredible! The tripe and trotters were also very good, as were the pizzas and pasta dishes! We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice during our stay to try everything ☺️ Thank you to the whole team!

The weather wasn't great last night, but it was nice to sit down and eat pizza. We ordered an Andalusian pizza, which was delicious. We also ordered a Pauliner beer. We noticed that in France, people are surprised when we order a large beer, which is 0.5 liters per person. The staff was very friendly and helpful in translating the menu from French to English.

A very warm welcome, excellent pizzas and a very friendly pizza chef; the other dishes and suggestions are just as good and the prices reasonable - air conditioning inside at lunchtime if desired or a pleasant terrace at any time - an address to remember and return to!

I got sick from my Moules Frites. I think the food has gotten worse since we were there 3 years ago. But the restaurant is located with a good view of some of the city.

Villa D Este

18/09/2026: A wonderful discovery. Definitely worth the detour. Warm welcome. Attentive and kind staff. The food is excellent and plentiful. Pasta baked in a wood-fired oven. We recommend this establishment without hesitation and will gladly return.
16/09/2026: Absolutely fabulous dining experience! We arrived at short notice (10 hungry cyclists) and they managed to fit us in. The pasta was superb - huge portions, even by cyclists' standards, and incredibly tasty too. Desserts equally generous portions and just as tasty.. Great house red wine at €10/50cl. Impeccable service, fast, friendly and efficient. Would 100% recommend, and hope to come back before we leave Sisteron!
