It's expensive for what it is! €42 for a starter, a main course, a syrup, and a coffee. The starter is nothing to complain about, but the beef fillet (a bit questionable) is hidden under a thick layer of onions and mushrooms. It's a shame, the kitchen doesn't seem to lack technique (as evidenced by the pretty carrot rose). The magnificent setting and acceptable service save the experience.

A country bistro just the way I like them. We enjoyed dishes made with local produce.

Great restaurant, a very warm welcome, excellent food and attentive staff. A great owner, very welcoming and caring. We will come back the next time we are in Souvigny.

We had read the reviews on Le Petit Futé before choosing this restaurant, as we were passing through the area. The service was impeccable that day; it was a weekday, so it wasn't too busy. Served with a smile, which was very nice.
However, I chose prawns that looked more like shrimp... for €20 for 12 shrimp: that's expensive.
The duck breast was overcooked and tasteless, even bland. Also €20 for the main course.
The revisited pavlova: to be revisited or forgotten;
It was a kind of porridge of whipped cream and vanilla ice cream with industrial meringues at the four corners of the plate, and the baba was also a very dry industrial cake (despite the rum).
I reported all this when paying the bill and expressed my dissatisfaction, but no comment was received from the staff.
Beware, the "Point d'orgue" (the final point), a final point can quickly come... it would be a shame for Souvigny, which is a charming village, and especially for you. Question yourself.

A wonderful experience.
Le Point D'orgue is a very good restaurant.
The dishes are refined, the seasoning and cooking are just perfect, and the service is impeccable!
The staff is attentive, helpful, yet discreet.
The service time was just right.
In short, we had a wonderful time during our visit to the village and ate very well. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture
(the candle).
What a lovely surprise.

First of all, I would like to congratulate the kitchen team as well as the dining room team. I had dinner with a friend during the medieval festival, and it was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert. Our table was on the terrace, we were very comfortable. The dishes were delicious, as was the wine, I highly recommend it.
