We made a reservation for dinner at Point Rouge after a concert at the Palais Descas. I gave it 4 stars because the service was a bit slow, which I assume was due to a shortage of staff. Otherwise, it's definitely worth visiting this place. I loved the food; the appetizer was delicious, and my beef saltimbocca was fantastic. The wine they suggested was also delicious, and the service was excellent.

A perfect experience for wine and local produce lovers... I highly recommend it. A perfect place. A real haven. Ideal menu. Top-notch barista! A wonderful discovery.

⚠️ Please note, I'm giving 5 stars because I don't like to criticize the work of a team that's doing a great job! Just a small warning about the prices and portion sizes, especially for the aperitif cocktails and tapas. Let's not forget we're in the Southwest of France, a region known for its generous portions… Paying €14 for two small bites, a mini burger, or two small beef-stuffed pasta is fine, but as a customer, I was left wanting more. Otherwise, the cocktails are very good, the music is pleasant, and the atmosphere is warm and intimate. A little more effort on the portion sizes would be great. I understand that profit margins are important, but pleasing customers is also essential… a tough dilemma for you restaurateurs!

We discovered this cocktail bar through a Facebook ad, and overall, the experience was very pleasant. Despite a slightly long wait, probably due to staff shortages, the team more than made up for it with their kindness and attentiveness. The staff is truly caring, which makes the wait much easier to bear. The cocktails are delicious and well-balanced. The menu is extensive; it could perhaps use a bit more detail to navigate, but this also leaves room for some delightful surprises. I finally trusted the bartender, who prepared a personalized cocktail based on my preferences, and it was an excellent idea! The tapas are a bit pricey, but the 2025 Michelin star rating explains the costs. A great find, and one we'll undoubtedly return to, hoping for a slightly shorter wait.

A truly wonderful discovery! Everything is perfect: the setting, the location, the staff, and above all, the perfectly balanced, innovative, and refined dishes. And the cocktail and wine list is simply amazing. We'll definitely be back!

WHAT A SCANDAL!!! ... Indeed, what a scandal that this gem is so poorly located when so many Bordeaux establishments, falsely "trendy" or simply falsely...good, have prime street-front locations guaranteeing them a constant stream of passersby duped by the internet....😡😡 Initially drawn in by the tapas menu, we pushed open the door of this delightful haven only to discover a...logical approach to quality. First, the setting: intimate but not at all oppressive, with truly comfortable lighting (so rare), and then the warm welcome, the extensive menu... Between the quality of the cocktails 😱 made by a Mr. Perfect Bartender 👌, the creativity of the tapas (in the face of competition saturated with imitations) which we only half-discovered, the opulence of the wine list 😱, even by the glass (and in REAL fine glassware 😘)... and what can we say about the restaurant menu?? ...THAT will be for our second stop on this cloud nine. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN TO ALL 🙏🙏
