We only tried the bar area, and Le Point Rouge stands out as an establishment that masters these basics to perfection. The decor, music, and overall ambiance are superb. The service is very professional, personalized, and engaging; it's rare enough to be worth noting. The staff is passionate, and it shows. Thank you again. As for the cocktails, there's a huge selection on the menu that might confuse the most indecisive, but their preparation is masterful. This is definitely a place to remember for a great evening. A wonderful discovery: this kosher restaurant at the end of the docks! Magnificent, expertly prepared cuisine, beautiful interior decor, and impeccable service and recommendations. The only slight drawback was that we were cold.

The ice block, hand-carved on-site, becomes a central element of the bar. You don't just drink a cocktail; you witness a true performance. In the kitchen, Chef Christophe Girardot offers a journey through refined yet generous cuisine, as we know him. Each dish is a discovery, showcasing exceptional ingredients. Flavors flow together with creativity and elegance. Come, take your time, don't rush, savor and observe. Every detail counts; it's an experience to be savored. When I walked in, I told them we only had an hour for dinner. I ordered a main course and dessert. My partner ordered a starter and main. His starter came within 15 minutes of ordering. Then our mains took an hour from ordering - I had to cancel dessert (still charged for it). Terrible timings when I told them before ordering we only had an hour. The starter was delicious (mushroom ravioli). The main (cod) was overcooked as though it had been sitting under a lamp for ages. Other main (lamb) was good. Dessert never happened. Our server was lovely and attentive but kitchen timings ruined it for us.

Meal with friends Very average, bordering on scandalous considering the prices. You'll find much better places for a meal with these pretensions elsewhere in Bordeaux. A very mixed experience. "Royal cocktails" in name only, no champagne... After mentioning this to the waiter, he said he'd add more and never came back (first disappointment). The starter (soup) had no truffle, even though it was mentioned in the description (yet the truffle, even if only a little, is noticeable) (second disappointment). The scallop main course (€6 extra) also had no truffle (third disappointment). Overall, the meal wasn't great or memorable. However, the location is very beautiful. First and last time for me.

A gastronomic gem that perhaps only suffers from an inconvenient location. We will gladly return.

incredible. I was visiting boudeoux and by many recommendations from my hotel concierge and locals, I decided to visit this establishment and wow, it did not leave any room for disappointment . The food was just incredible, with some tasty and my opinion creative dishes which I wish I could find in my area back home. I am still dreaming of the gyoza. Cocktails were lovely. I had a xxx on the beach and an espresso martini and both hit the spot, a huge menu to choose from- I prefer sweet cocktails which was easily accommodated for, with the extensive options available. Great wine and champagne options! Open until late, good music and an upscale elegant atmosphere. I really wish I had explored this place sooner… 🥲🥲 Until next time point rouge. 5 stars all round from London. Unfortunately I don’t know how to add photos but I very much so recommend.
