My husband chose steak and fries and an ice cream for dessert; it wasn't too bad. I went for the scampi skewer and chocolate mousse. The grilled scampi were dry and therefore difficult to peel, and the chocolate mousse was days old, resulting in a hard, dried-out layer on top. The beers were nice and cold, though, and the fries were nice and juicy.
A lovely roadside establishment with parking across the street.
The meats are cooked over a wood fire on a beautiful grill.
The owner is very pleasant and does both the cooking and serving.
The desserts are homemade.
A truly excellent restaurant. Delicious, locally sourced, home-style cooking made with fresh, local ingredients. A very warm welcome. Everything was perfect! Bravo!
A very warm welcome. The owner kindly agreed to serve us despite the late hour, which meant she had to extend her service. Excellent value for money. Many thanks.
