Last night, my partner and I had the pleasure of discovering the new menu at Le Pont Saint-Étienne, and the evening was a truly delightful culinary experience. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warm atmosphere and the attentive service, but above all, by the care taken with every detail of the experience. To start, we ordered an aperitif that immediately set the tone for the evening. I chose "La Mandale," a cocktail made with spiced rum, pineapple juice, and mango liqueur: a perfectly balanced, exotic, subtle, and incredibly flavorful blend. An original cocktail that truly deserves to be discovered. My partner opted for a virgin mojito, fresh, balanced, and very refreshing. The appetizers confirmed this excellent first impression. The gravlax beef was delicate, meltingly tender, and exquisitely refined, enhanced by a surprising anchovy mousse that added a touch of brininess and a great deal of character to the dish. The fish ballotine also won us over with its lightness and perfectly balanced flavors. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, showcasing quality ingredients and true culinary expertise. For our main course, we enjoyed the duck breast with its honey sauce. The cooking was perfect, and the meat was particularly flavorful. Our only slight reservation was that the accompaniment was a touch too sweet, which sometimes overpowered the dish. The filet mignon, too, was extremely tender and perfectly cooked. Finally, the chocolate dessert brought this meal to a perfect close: a rich, comforting, and flawlessly executed treat for chocolate lovers. This new menu is a real success. You can sense the sincere, creative, and expertly crafted cuisine, driven by quality ingredients and a passionate team. An excellent restaurant in Limoges that we recommend without hesitation and where we will gladly return.

As well as a natural and warm welcome, which is so important. The alchemy of these elements makes for an excellent experience, a truly enjoyable tasting experience...and one that leaves you wanting to return... Highly recommended!

I passed by this restaurant, beautifully situated by the Pont Saint-Etienne, a few days ago. Today I returned to the city and reserved a table for dinner. The menu displayed outside the restaurant had a QR code, allowing me to view it in other languages ​​on my phone (English, German, Dutch, and Spanish). The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. The maître d'hôtel, who greeted me, showed me to my table and immediately pointed out the digital menu service. From my table, I had a view of the Vienne River and the Pont Saint-Etienne. She asked if she could speak German with me and then explained the composition of each dish. The individual dishes were exquisite and perfectly matched the descriptions. My highest praise goes to the kitchen and, of course, to the service!

Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the food and the service. The menu offered a daily special at a very reasonable price. The tables were well spaced, which is rarely the case in town. We had a lovely time, a very refreshing stop on our GR 4 hike.

Impeccable welcome, fast service, the waitress even gave some great advice. The food was excellent, an explosion of different flavors in the mouth. I will definitely come back and I recommend it 100%!

Recommended by friends, we discovered this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. We had the daily special, and from the appetizer to the dessert, it was excellent—the flavors were delightful and the presentation was beautiful. The setting is lovely, with a view of the Vienne River and its stone bridge. We'll definitely be back to try the à la carte menu. P.S.: They have a great wine list.
