Le Port-Gallier sur Poilly-Lez-Gien

Had a delicious meal at this restaurant next to the campsite. Great service! The brochette, the mussels, entrecote, fish and chips, and almost all the desserts were delicious.

Great restaurant on the banks of the Loire, top-notch and friendly staff, and really good food, worth discovering.

The ribeye steak wasn't very good quality. The service was chaotic; we had ordered the children's meal with our aperitif, but we received almost everything at once.

We have eaten here often in recent years when we are at the campsite. The food is just fine. Unfortunately, the service went very wrong today. We sat waiting for 45 minutes before we could order a drink. Everything took an enormous amount of time. We ordered a drink before the main course and it was forgotten, so we had to ask again. We had steak tartare. They had forgotten to put the utensils on the table (salt, pepper, etc.); after waving around for 10 minutes, someone finally noticed. One hour after we were finished! We were finally able to order dessert. All that time, no one paid any attention to us. We would have liked to order more drinks. We wanted to eat here more often this week, but unfortunately, that won't be happening... Hopefully they really improve the service; the food is good and the atmosphere is fine. The service was otherwise friendly, but I think they are understaffed and lack experience.

Was served by a nice guy, the food was really tasty and affordable. Excellent glass of wine with it. Absolutely great!

Very good, very well served and the restaurant has a lovely decor.

Lovely place, lovely terrace, a very warm welcome, excellent service... it's a shame the food doesn't live up to the restaurant's standards: the mussels were shriveled from overcooking, and the fries (sliced ​​potatoes) were very good but few in number (about 7). A tip: cook your mussels to order and clean them thoroughly.

We came on reopening day and were already disappointed by the food, but we were lenient. Last night we returned, and while the welcome and service were impeccable, we were very disappointed with the mussels—overcooked and very salty, especially the ones with Roquefort cheese—and there were very few fries (which were good). The music on the terrace is a bit loud. It's a shame because the setting and the staff inside are excellent!

The setting was lovely, but the goat cheese salad was a bit of a letdown (olive oil dressing... tasteless, plain white lettuce, unripe tomato...). However, the dessert was excellent and very generous.

Excellent restaurant, tastefully decorated with a holiday atmosphere, a truly relaxing experience. I highly recommend it.
