What a joy! 8 bikers without a reservation. We arrived at 1 p.m. No problem at all, greeted with a smile Excellent beef tartare, superb andouillette sausage We didn't expect to be so delighted while passing through Bellegarde A big thank you and well done!

A really nice restaurant with fresh ingredients; I wanted to try the starters: an excellent terrine and a delicious fresh salmon tartare.

One of the few traditional French restaurants in Bellegarde. The welcome is warm and the staff knowledgeable, offering helpful advice on dishes and wines, from a very appealing wine list. The food is excellent and beyond reproach; I tried it twice in one week, and my favorite was the bavette steak, the meat of which was simply divine. Good, fresh ingredients, simple yet perfectly executed cuisine! Reservations are recommended as the dining room isn't very large. The terrace could be pleasant, were it not for the surrounding area, which is unfortunately quite noisy. The prices are a bit high for the area, but the complimentary digestif offered by the owner at the end of service is a truly delightful touch, served with a smile! Definitely worth a try!

We took our time and had a very good meal. The restaurant was full, but we could easily converse. I recommend this place.
