Le Poulailler D'Augustin sur Bordeaux

Discovered this last week during our stay in Bordeaux and let me tell you that I haven’t tasted something so delicious in years! Everything was delicious, the roasted chicken, potatoes, roasted red and green peppers , the Greek salad ! My husband being British didn’t understand why it was a bit pricey but when he tasted the food, he realised - this is about quality food and knowing the artisans who are producing the food! Nice work, great team ! We will be back for more ☺️

This is for food to take away and prepare/warm up at home. The tables/chairs in the pictures are not there anymore. There is no seating inside and they cannot heat up the food for takeaway/picnic so although the food looks delicious we couldn't stay to eat!

We will come back without any hesitation! The chicken is tasty and the gratin dauphinois to die for. Quality like we've rarely seen! The homemade chicken rillettes are excellent. It’s perfect as a starter or aperitif.

Incredible experience! Large choice of poultry (all very well cooked!), but also large choice of side dishes. The welcome is top notch and Augustin will be able to advise you on the best wines to accompany your dish. Enough to have a really good time!
