Le Poulbot sur Pouzauges

Excellent place! The restaurant, located on the church square, offers a pleasant setting and a beautiful view of the Vendée countryside to the rear. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The pizzas are delicious, as are the pasta dishes, all carefully prepared and generously served. We had a wonderful time in a convivial atmosphere. I highly recommend this pizzeria and will definitely return!

Excellent welcome, humor, and attentiveness from the staff. Very reasonable prices and delicious food. The pizzas, pasta with scallops, steak, grilled salmon, and ice cream were all excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our family meal on the lovely terrace, which overlooks the church in Pouzauges.

We're currently sitting on the terrace, passing through Pouzauges… After reading the reviews, we decided to have dinner here… We're restaurateurs ourselves and, admittedly, a bit picky 🤷🏻‍♂️🫣 !!! One word to sum up this evening: excellent!!! (In every way) If you're ever in the area, don't hesitate… We wish you a great season…

I had the opportunity to dine there one evening with my parents. A pleasant place, a warm welcome, friendly service, and good food. A great place to remember.

Located on the church square. A unique and welcoming place. I had a very good pizza and we greatly appreciated the professionalism and friendly manner of Jérôme, the seasonal worker. We recommend this place.

It's a shame the website doesn't mention that dogs aren't welcome; it would have saved us from being refused entry to the restaurant and having to stay alone on the terrace one evening when it was 17 degrees Celsius, as our miniature dachshund could have bothered other customers. The pizzas were decent, thankfully. It's a pity they didn't have a bottle of chili oil, only oil in a sachet; it felt more like takeaway pizza. It would be better to peel the apples in the pom-pom crepe and toss them in butter, as the almost raw apple pieces with the peel on spoiled the crepe. As for the atmosphere, being the only two of us outside with our dog, I can't say it was festive.

Very welcoming and excellent service! I recommend it 100%!
