The menu displayed outside caught our eye. We don't regret our choice. This unassuming restaurant, "Le Poulpe" in Lorient, delighted us. We opted for the shrimp bowl (about twenty with homemade mayonnaise) and the flambéed langoustines (there were fifteen!) served with homemade fries and a green salad. The crème brûlée for dessert was also very good. All very generous portions for €21. The service was quick, pleasant, and friendly. We will definitely recommend this restaurant and will return when our holidays take us there again. Well done to all the staff!
I had lunch at Le Poulpe and honestly, it's a really great place. The dishes are fresh, the homemade fries are excellent, and the crème brûlée is simply delicious. The service is quick and the staff is really friendly.
And the fact that there's no set menu is a very good sign; you know the ingredients are fresh and the dishes depend on what's available that day. As an added bonus, the white wine is also excellent and pairs perfectly with the food. I highly recommend this restaurant; it's a place you should definitely try.
Great team, great atmosphere! The tuna was absolutely amazing, and the homemade fries with homemade mayonnaise... simply incredible! We enjoyed every bite from start to finish. I highly recommend this place!
