A lovely spot. Before the peak season arrives,
we were served in the small dining room right next to their impressive fireplace.
The dishes were good and beautifully presented.
The experience was generally adequate, nothing more. The setting is pleasant, typical of a country bistro, and the terrace is lovely in good weather (unfortunately not set up). As for the food, the dishes are simple, but the execution sometimes lacks finesse; the daily special (good value for money) is a bit bland or too basic. The portion sizes are decent.
The service is generally professional, although occasionally a little distant. Nothing unpleasant, but we didn't really feel any particular warmth or enthusiasm.
