A lovely, very clean and well-maintained establishment, with friendly and welcoming staff. We found a welcome stop just off the motorway, offering tasty and affordable cuisine – the epitome of French excellence.

After a tasting at the Dubard winery, we chose this restaurant for dinner. A very warm welcome from the hostess. Excellent service from the staff. We chose the daily special: a soft cream with mixed vegetables, goat cheese, and prawns—cold and a super surprising; chicken fillet with a garnish of vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a delicious sauce; and for dessert, acacia flower fritters and a tasty scoop of vanilla ice cream. This is pure enjoyment at an incredibly fair price and relaxed dining. This is restaurant dining at its best.

The home cooking was perfectly executed. I was invited for a surprise menu, and there was just one small detail—it's typical of the region—so the surprise menu consisted of five courses, including cheese, which I don't eat. But this is a very minor point. The dessert was impeccable, and the service was very pleasant, efficient, and perfectly executed. Everything is perfect at this restaurant: refined setting, impeccable service, and sophisticated cuisine. We came for a birthday celebration and opted for the surprise menu, a five-course meal without knowing in advance what we would be enjoying.

Paleron of beef done to perfection, the right spices, the pasta spaetzle was ok. The Bergerac wine was spot on. Personnel is very nice and efficient. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. To be visited again without hesitations.
