Le Pressoir Gourmand sur Mezel

I only wish we lived closer! We had a wonderful lunch, sitting in the shaded terrace on a blistering hot day. Very friendly and welcoming service, the freshest of ingredients, and perfect menu. Thank you so much for a memorable lunch.

While on holiday a few kilometers away, one Thursday evening we noticed that almost all the restaurants in Digne were closed. So we went to Le Pressoir somewhat by chance, but it was a very pleasant surprise! Go without hesitation. The dishes are well-prepared with blends of herbs, etc. My son had an original children's menu: mashed potatoes on a bed of lentils and ham, chestnut flour cake with chestnut cream. A welcome change from chicken nuggets!

A off the beaten path hidden gem in Establoun! The chefs take incredible pride in crafting delicious dishes. Their duck confit was one of our favorite dishes during our entire stay in France. The menu is handwritten on the wall and changes daily. We had a large party of 9 and they were super helpful and accommodating to help us order a good variety of dishes for everyone. Couldn’t recommend them more!

We arrived late (around 9:15 pm), the kitchens were closed, but they offered us the remaining starters and two main courses, so there was no need to cook anything else. We had tzatziki as a starter (absolutely delicious!), then each had moussaka, before finishing with peach soup and chestnut cake... Needless to say, we were pampered despite our late arrival and the fact that we were the only ones in the restaurant (on the terrace). The staff is truly lovely, the food is homemade and absolutely delicious—in short, a real gem of a place, the kind you just don't find anymore!

We came on Saturday, June 13th for our wedding anniversary meal. Everything was perfect. The service was top-notch, the setting superb, and the food served was beyond perfect. I highly recommend this establishment, which is run by a fantastic chef.
