We stopped by chance; there were three of us, and in the end, we were all unanimous about the quality of our food, the welcome, and the service. For once, parents and children were on the same page! 😀 So, obviously, if you're a fan of frozen fries and the same old Caesar salad, you'd better steer clear because you'll be very disappointed. We sampled the tzatziki, the goat cheese salad, the perfect egg, the pork tagine, the spelt risotto with figatelli sausage, the vegetarian lasagna, the peach soup, the apricot clafoutis, and the chestnut fondant. Everyone will have understood that we ate like OGRES, but gourmet ogres. We left grateful to see a skilled artisan surrounded by a young waiter and a young assistant who are sure to be well-trained. You can't help but be impressed when the owner infuses his passion for his craft into every dish, making sure to ask his customers about their satisfaction at the end of lunch. And then, quickly, the conversation flows into a lively chat: Where are you from? What do you do for a living? And what other great places to discover? We highly recommend it to everyone. A special mention goes to the simply perfect side dishes, sauces, and seasonings!

Everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert. Original cuisine, excellent value for money, and locally sourced produce. It had been a very long time since I'd eaten such delicious morel mushroom appetizers and main courses! Plus, parking is very easy thanks to the large car parks underneath, and the shaded terrace is a delight, even at lunchtime.

We ate well, but the bill was a little high for two people: 75 euros, including a starter that was turned into a main course, two aperitifs, a glass of wine, and a dessert. It's true that taking photos of all the dishes during service wasn't really the best time. I wasn't unpleasant to your server; I simply pointed out a lack of enthusiasm. I've seen student waiters who were more cheerful and, above all, more motivated.

We received a very warm welcome despite our late arrival. Special mention goes to the lamb and its wonderfully cooked seasonal vegetables. A real treat!
