Le Prieure sur Chaumont-Le-Bourg

Excellent cuisine in the countryside! The seasonal, locally sourced dishes were delicious! The trout tartare with beetroot butter was excellent, the asparagus dishes were very good, and the floating island dessert, while a classic, was very well presented. I highly recommend this restaurant (there's a large fireplace for grilled meats!). The service is impeccable too! PS: The place has excellent acoustics: very quiet, which is lovely!

We celebrated one of our sons' birthdays with family at Le Prieuré. The dinner was excellent, especially the dry-aged beef ribs cooked over a wood fire, the asparagus risotto, and a divine strawberry cake! Kudos to the chef and his professional and very friendly team!

A wonderful family outing! We came for brunch and everything was absolutely delicious. Everything is homemade. After our meal, we enjoyed a stroll through the gardens, a real bonus that made the experience even more enjoyable. A place I highly recommend!
