The staff were extremely accommodating, flexible, and very friendly. The food was excellent, and the breakfast was superb. The rooms were comfortable. Highly recommended.

Participating in the "Les Copains" cycling event in Ambert, I stayed at Domaine du Prieuré. The staff were welcoming, they had bike storage, and the pre-event meal was tailored to cyclists' needs and delicious (marinated chicken fillets cooked on a griddle). Breakfast was served at 6:30 am so I could participate in the event. It was a generous breakfast. The other meal on Saturday, cooked with fresh ingredients, was a real treat. The swimming pool was clean and very pleasant.

We just spent a lovely few days in this beautiful, historic building. We received a warm welcome. There were five of us, and we booked a double room, which was very beautiful and spacious, and a triple room divided into two sections: one single room and one double room. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace for dinner, which was delicious. I highly recommend this establishment; it must be magical to celebrate an event (birthday, wedding, etc.) in such a setting. A very relaxing and peaceful place. We will definitely return.

Having come as a group to explore the region by bike, we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received. We needed a certain amount of independence to manage our excursions, and this was granted to us beyond our expectations. The staff truly went out of their way to ensure our satisfaction in every respect. And I won't even mention the impeccable quality of the food: homemade dishes using delicious, organic, regional products! You can enjoy a clean and well-maintained swimming pool and a shaded pétanque court. A highly recommended establishment.

Excellent restaurant in a hotel, a very pleasant surprise! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. The dry-aged beef was simply exceptional: tender, flavorful, and of rare quality, it literally melted in your mouth. The fries were also a real treat, crispy and perfectly cooked. To finish, the strawberry cake was excellent, light yet indulgent. A flawless experience from start to finish. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to discover generous and high-quality cuisine—go without hesitation and treat yourself!

The matured ribeye steak cooked over an open fire reveals a range of flavors that tantalize your taste buds.
