Le Prieure sur Chaumont-Le-Bourg

We had a very pleasant stay at Le Prieuré. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant: a special mention for the rib-eye steaks cooked over an open fire—absolutely delicious! But everything else was excellent, from the appetizers to the main courses… and above all, don't miss the desserts, they are incredible! The owners are charming, welcoming, and very attentive. And to top it all off, a perfect breakfast! A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend and where we will gladly return.

We just celebrated a birthday with family and friends at Le Prieuré; A perfectly successful weekend! The managers and all the staff are fantastic: friendly, helpful, and the food was perfect, with a fire pit and spit-roasted ham. The grounds are vast and offer plenty of activities. We highly recommend this establishment.

A truly wonderful discovery. When local produce (and wines) meets haute cuisine, the result is a flavorful, light (but quite substantial, I assure you), and above all, very inspired meal. Verbena and blueberries take center stage in the flavors, especially in the original cocktails. Attention to detail is evident in the way the dishes are prepared. There's always a touch of crunch. The saffron cream is simply divine. All this in a magical setting, with the warm smiles and hospitality of the couple who have been running the place for three years. I highly recommend it.

I can't comment on the rooms as we only ate at the restaurant. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return.

A fabulous four-night stay in this charming and authentic priory. Special mention for the chef's exquisite cuisine (highly recommended meals!) enjoyed on the terrace, overlooking an absolutely magnificent view that never gets old. This panorama is a must-see. Finally, a huge thank you to the entire team for their helpfulness and numerous thoughtful touches, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We wholeheartedly recommend this place! We felt very comfortable in this former priory. The view, the peace and quiet, the terrace, the pool, the breakfast, the restaurant (don't miss the dry-aged ribeye steak)... It has everything you need for a wonderful stay. But that's nothing compared to the kindness of the owners and staff. Simplicity, authenticity, smiles... Don't change a thing! We hope to return...
