Fairly typical french tourist restaurant. We liked the old theatre style decor etc.Steak and potatoes hit the spot . Fruit crumble was tasty but re heated and slightly cool in the middle . Waitress from Canada was so friendly and pulled the evening there into a really enjoyable one . Crumble aside !

Not everything is homemade, especially the sauce that comes with the andouillette: it has a very unpleasant chemical taste. I mentioned it to the waitress, who didn't seem to mind... the lemon tart was good.

We ate here for lunch. We hadn't made a reservation and brought a stroller with 2 small dogs in it; eating inside was no problem. It had just started raining, so we didn't pay attention to the available terrace. The set menu looked good and was nicely prepared. Friendly service, sufficient time between courses. Good atmosphere, busy.

A more than reasonable price for the delightful time we spent on the terrace. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was fresh and a welcome change from what you usually find in brasseries—refined and perfectly seasoned. A real treat. The service was very pleasant and quick. I recommend it 100%; you won't regret it!

We will gladly return to this restaurant. Thank you for the warm welcome extended to our group of French/German exchange students. Thank you for your kindness. The food was excellent. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

So lovely... I give it 5 stars across the board. I've been going to this restaurant regularly for several years. Why? The welcome from the very young team is incredibly friendly. The service is cheerful and full of humor. The food? Everything is homemade with high-quality, incredibly fresh ingredients. You can taste it, and you love it.

14/06/2026: First time at Gill's using a gift certificate: Excellent food, but the ever-present service interrupted any conversation. The wine we ordered was forgotten and served with dessert... The atmosphere was noisy as we were seated next to a large table. Overall, I was disappointed considering the restaurant's reputation.

Le Theatre

06/10/2025: Came to eat with my daughter this week (tomato juice 🤣🤣🤣) we had a great time, the owners and staff were very pleasant and the meal was plentiful, I highly recommend it.
30/09/2025: Typical French brasserie atmosphere, impeccable service, and quality food. It's always a pleasure to come to this establishment.
