Excellent place, it has that old-school truck stop atmosphere. The owner is wonderful, very outspoken, and the boss is exactly where he should be. There's plenty of parking for trucks, and the showers and toilets are very clean. I recommend it 200%! I'll definitely be back next time.

Thank you for the warm welcome! It was my first time at Le P'ti Sarment, and I'll definitely be back. I felt right at home. The owner is very kind, and the welcome was much warmer. She makes sure everyone parks properly, like a little policeman! I found it so pleasant. I promise next time I come, I'll squeeze in more 😉 compared to another Relais (which I won't name). I ate well and, most importantly, slept well. I felt safe. Thank you for your welcome and your kindness ☺️ See you soon!

The owner and manager are very friendly. I met the owner a long time ago; she ran a small restaurant at the entrance to Niort.

The young parking attendant gave us a very warm welcome, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the food is very good. I will definitely be back. Kisses, young lady. Pascal and his grandson.

26/02/2026: Halfway through our hike, we stumbled upon the menu outside the restaurant: a very reasonable price for a starter, main course, and dessert. We ordered a charcuterie/grilled ham platter with new potatoes and a crème brûlée (absolutely delicious)! The owners are really friendly and seem passionate about what they do. I take my hat off to them for setting up shop in this type of village, primarily inhabited by locals. I hope these residents realize how lucky they are to have a smile even when the weather is gloomy and to enjoy such high-quality food all year round! ;-) Special mention for the crème brûlée: we highly recommend it!
19/02/2026: Great place, I highly recommend it! The food is very good; I had a pizza and it was excellent, all homemade! The atmosphere is great!
