A truly excellent farm inn, with a wonderful welcome from both the owner and the waitress. The customers are really pampered. I highly recommend this restaurant; you can go without hesitation, you won't be disappointed. 👍

This was our first restaurant after arriving in the Dordogne, and what a great experience! We were able to eat there even though we hadn't booked in advance, and we received a very warm welcome. It was a real pleasure to browse through the dishes on the different menus; thank you for your kindness and for taking such good care of us ☺️

I recommend this restaurant 1000%! The welcome is warm, Josiane and the waitress are truly dedicated to making you happy! Bernard in the kitchen strives to delight you with his generous portions. At the end of the meal, he circulates among the tables and always has a kind word. You'll be welcomed with a very good glass of Pineau and a Tourain, which are, of course, complimentary! These days, that's unheard of! The portions are generous, the ingredients are high-quality and homemade, the cherry tomatoes from the garden are excellent, and the raspberry Melba sundae is to die for (made with raspberries from the garden). We've tried many restaurants in the region, which we know very well, but none compare to Le Puits Fleuri! Josiane is kind and always attentive. She regularly checks to make sure everything is alright. So don't miss this little detour; you won't be disappointed.

There were five of us for lunch, and we loved it. Not knowing we needed a reservation, we were welcomed "like at Grandma's" (those were Josiane's own words; we were five young people). The dishes are simple but excellent, with the perfect flavor for duck confit, pâté, and strawberry melba. There was no tourin (a garlic soup), as none of those who had reserved had ordered it, yet we had pâté as a starter. The aperitif was complimentary, and the owners were very generous with the portions, even offering us seconds. All this for 30 euros per person; we almost felt like we were ripping them off. In short, make a reservation if you want to come, but we were welcomed with such kindness, even without a reservation, that it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it.
