Lost in the maze of Bordeaux streets, Puy Paulin caught my eye with its charming terrace with beautiful woven wicker chairs, and its calm at first glance. However, after serving this simple coffee, a pigeon with a gruff air sat next to me just before leaving his signature on my cup lid, if you know what I mean. Distraught, I abandoned my coffee and moved on, leaving this place without remorse. Maybe I could have left a tip, but this pigeon decides otherwise.

We came yesterday afternoon and had a lovely time. Warm and smiling welcome. We were in the upper room with efficient and professional service. The entire meal was excellent. We will come back on our next visit to Bordeaux

Stumbled upon this place after returning from st emilion and opting not to queue for l’entrecote as we were too hungry. Typical french bistro. Quiet compared to other nearby restaurants, but staff were welcoming. Burger was very nice and the pork dish was very tasty. But extremely filling so didn’t need the side of mashed potatoes. Crème brûlée was really good and the wine wasn’t overpriced

We visited twice while in Bordeaux .On both occasions the food was very good as was the service . Would recommend if you want an authentic French restaurant . Wine good too . Prices average for the city .

We just had a drink with friends, but it was enough to notice that the service is not friendly. The waitress responded dismissively when our friend who doesn't drink alcohol for health reasons asked if they had non-alcoholic beers. (Answer: no. After a week of vacationing in tiny villages and campsites, this was the first and only place that didn't have one).

23/08/2024: Aging hotel but very clean. Very very kind and caring staff. Hearty and excellent breakfast 👌. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and it was delicious (fresh salmon tartare and all-you-can-eat buffet) I highly recommend.
20/08/2024: Reservation for 1 night. Very clean room, great customer service. Many thanks Alexandre for your welcome. Every employee I have interacted with has been phenomenal. The manager is very welcoming and involved in the smooth running of his hotel and the well-being of his teams. Hotel very easy to access, traveling alone I felt safe. Many thanks for everything and very good continuation.
