A very friendly welcome, between gentleness and humor. Delicious oysters! Besides, a thank you to Nico who took the liberty of showing me how to fully appreciate them. A perfect first evening in Martigues.

Good welcome, a little old-fashioned restaurant, the oysters are excellent, especially the Camargue ones, the cuisine is not bad but really garlicky, Gourmet not gourmet coffee!! The waiter (boss) is very nice but has a very dark humor and knows everything 🤷‍♂️

A desire for seafood….🦪 🦐🦞🦀🍤 fresh and delicious. We had a great time. But be careful, don't make a comment, even a kind one, when you are asked if everything went well, the mayonnaise was questionable...the boss doesn't know how to welcome it. Damage. I still keep the 4 stars

Le décor pirates est très sympa. La serveuse agréable. Dans l'ensemble c'était bon, sauf gros problème, les moules marinières qui ne respectent pas la recette. C'était un bouillon avec des oignons et herbes de Provence ce qui ne donne pas du tout le goût des moules marinières. Les moules étaient petites, sèches. Ce plat simple qui doit être bon ne l'était pas du tout. J'ai fait la remarque et on m'a dit que c'était bien la recette. Ne pas prendre les clients pour des imbéciles serait un minimum.

Restaurant Chez Francine

08/12/2024: We went to Francine's house following the TV report. We were not disappointed, my husband and I had the whole octopus, a real treat and cooked just right. For dessert, an excellent mega rum baba. Quality, price, nothing to complain about. A simple front and an interior that is very atypical of the region. A great welcome. We will come back, thank you.
05/12/2024: Exterior does not look like much, frame to renovate. But it's good, the comfort is adequate, the service is fast, pleasant and the cuisine is great, with plenty of choice.
