We came this weekend, and everything was perfect 👍
The welcome, service, staff, and food were all excellent.
We were even offered a complimentary after-dinner drink. We'll definitely be back if we're in the area again for our ski trip ⛷️

A very enjoyable experience, despite a minor hiccup. The professionalism of the owner and the waitstaff was truly exceptional, ensuring a very pleasant and convivial atmosphere. For those with a sweet tooth, go for it!

I'm a regular at ski resorts, and I wanted to find a typical Savoyard restaurant (this was my first time in Valmorel), so we chose Le Refuge.
What a great choice! I ate one of the best tartiflettes of my life. It was generous and delicious. We had a wonderful time, and to finish off the meal, we enjoyed a lovely black génépi liqueur.
The staff are fantastic! We changed our minds several times, and despite that, they did everything they could to make us happy. The owner is super friendly!
I highly recommend this restaurant; it's well worth the trip!

A very warm and beautifully decorated restaurant. A welcoming team that's attentive to its customers. A super cool owner! We had some great conversations about tattoos.
The dishes are delicious and generous, perfect after a day of snowboarding.
Be sure to book in advance!
Excellent place!!
If we choose this resort again next year, we'll definitely be back!

Dinner for four in armchairs, comfortable but too comfortable to be truly relaxed.
For an aperitif, there was no local white wine by the glass, only a Chardonnay…
We ordered a tartiflette, a small ramekin with three pieces of Reblochon cheese on top. We also had a Crozet gratin with cream and cheese on top, and a duck breast that was too raw, not pink at all, and very tough.
Overall, it was quite basic, typical of a mountain restaurant in a ski resort, uninspired but acceptable.
