The Savoyard fondue of the moment (not listed on the menu) is very good! The charcuterie platter was enough for me, but perhaps a little small for those with a big appetite. The service and welcome from the owners were perfect.

A must-try restaurant in Caen for a meal with friends or family. We had the fondue, it was delicious and very generous. We'll definitely be back for a good raclette. It's essential to book in advance to guarantee a table.

We came for a hen party, and the service was slow. Since the table at the back was reserved, they only gave us 5 minutes to eat dessert... a bit tight, but thankfully the meal and decor more than made up for it.

A real gem in Caen! Le Refuge immerses you in an authentic, warm, and welcoming mountain atmosphere. You immediately feel at home, like in a chalet after a day of skiing. The tartiflette is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable considering the generous portions and the care taken with each dish. The service is impeccable, with a special mention for our waitress: welcoming, smiling, and very attentive, she made the meal even more enjoyable. A place to recommend without hesitation! We will gladly return to experience this mountain atmosphere again and try other specialties.

We had a wonderful time at this beautifully decorated restaurant; the atmosphere was truly delightful. The raclette was excellent! Special mention goes to the extremely friendly owner and the very kind and smiling waitress. We will gladly return and highly recommend it!

Super experience. It's like being in the Alps but in Normandy. Super abundant and delicious fondue. Very nice and friendly staff. We left very satisfied. 100% recommended!!

25/06/2025: Brasserie in the heart of Caen. A terrace lined with shrubs that provide privacy from the street: ideal for dining al fresco or simply enjoying a drink. The interior dining room is (very) beautiful, in my opinion. The food is as good as the setting is pleasant. Friendly and cheerful staff.
