Le Refuge sur Megeve

I've come here several times over the last decade and will keep coming back for the foreseeable future. The food this time was particularly delicious, even though I'd had 2 of the main dishes before so it wasn't new to me but it all just tasted amazing. Truffle fondue, beef wellington and chocolate creme brulee (this one was a first as this was new on the menu - super appreciate it) - all perfect! The fondue did take about 45min to arrive but after that (since it was past 2:00 at this point), everything else was faster but don't go here if you are in a rush (which is totally fine by me as we usually go knowing we'll spend a good 2-3 hours enjoying the views and cozy atmosphere). Service was good overall with personnel often coming to ensure everything was going ok. It would be nice to change up the menu more or make it slightly larger though for those of us that come year after year but otherwise all good.

Excellent time, welcoming staff, the dishes are very good. We will come back!

A really very unpleasant welcome... we were a quarter of an hour late, and she almost turned us away in an absolutely unprofessional manner. On the other hand, we were served by Mateo, a pure marvel. So adorable. And to conclude, a fondue like I have rarely eaten. And the sommelier blah blah too.

Unfriendly welcome. The receptionist not up to the task. Just unpleasant. On the other hand, Matheo is great, the only one to live up to what we expected. A passionate person who masters his profession. A pleasure. Too bad for the receptionist and the sommelier in his tie. The rest is great. Thank you.

Super nice Restaurant with very good dishes. Our visit was almost perfect. Only the meat knifes for our duck that were brought to our table additionaly were dusty. Otherwise very attentive service, food cooked on point with excellent flavors, sauces and sides. Cozy mountain hut ambience.

The hidden charm of Megeve. Delicious food served by smily people on a sunny terrace. This place is the kind I like !

Restauration de qualité, mais chère , équipe sympathique et attentionnée, mais .. table située en terrasse au dessus «des égouts » Il ne nous a pas été possible de bouger en cours de repas , et je l’ai signalé à la fin, très courtoisement. Surprise : tout le monde était au courant qu’il y avait un problème ( peut être temporaire). Mais cela n’a pas empêché de nous attribuer cette table . A la fin, il m’a été dit très gentiment que l’on allait noter de ne pas nous la donner la prochaine fois ! Gentil, mais très insuffisant, et vraiment inacceptable pour un restaurant de ce niveau et de ce prix
