Amazing fondues... even in summer ;)

An outstanding dining experience in Megève! Le Refuge is exactly what you imagine when you think of a traditional French mountain restaurant. The setting is beautiful, with the charm of an authentic alpine chalet. The warm wooden décor creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The food is absolutely amazing, and the fondue is simply outstanding, one of the best we’ve had! Every dish was delicious and prepared with great quality. One of the highlights of the evening was the music. They were playing country music, which gave the restaurant such a fun and unique atmosphere. Even better, the manager was a Texas fan, which made the experience even more memorable with some great conversations! If you’re looking for authentic mountain cuisine, a warm atmosphere, excellent food, and genuinely friendly service, Le Refuge is a must-visit in Megève. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience! The setting is magnificent, the welcome is warm, and the service is impeccable. The food is delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Megève, and I will definitely be back!

The restaurant is quite far and high up, but beautiful. As for the food, we ordered the fondue, which was wonderful but very heavy. We also ordered the chicken, which was good, and the beef with truffle, but it was just okay, and the truffle sauce was very spicy. We finished with the soufflé, which was below average and definitely not worth ordering again. Overall, it's a nice place and a good experience, but I won't go back.

The place has a nice view and atmosphere, but unfortunately the food isn't great. The service is very slow—45 minutes to prepare. Overall rating: 6.5/10

An excellent dinner in a magical setting. From the appetizer to the dessert, every dish was delicious and carefully prepared. A warm welcome and impeccable service throughout the meal. We will definitely return.

Fantastic experience, very pleasant service, delicious food. Absolutely top-class! Very easily accessible and a large parking lot available.
