Le Refuge a Pizza sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Clean room, warm shower, excellent food! What more can you ask for on tmb? I think the place is run by only 2 people, so it gets pretty quiet after 8, dead quiet after 9. It is a quick 10 min walk to town where you can find good breakfast.

The food was good. The only complaint would be the lack of soundproofing in the building. The people in the rooms next to us were so loud and the doors creaked and got slammed so many times. You can hear everything!

TMB September. Friendly staff. This location is cozy, has a nice garden and things are well organized. A few more rules. You can play a game in the 'living room', but there isn't much space there. Dinner was salad, pork belly with lentils (cooked a little too short) and a very tasty cake for dessert. It's worth the money for the picnic! Originally a salad but also a sandwich, fruit and chocolate. Felt bedding which is not very comfortable. Slips off the sheet liner, but feels clean. Large shower room. Breakfast even had a croissant! For the price, definitely worth the money.

Very cute, very clean, they provided sheets and covers that were disposable (one time use). The food was made with extra love. Croissants for breakfast. No shower tokens which was great. Staff was very friendly!

The hosts are welcoming, the food is excellent, the location is ideal, and the dormitory is great. The toilets are clean. It was our last refuge before the end of the TMB and we are delighted to have spent our last night there! To all visitors from other countries who leave bad comments and think they have all the rights, a refuge has rules which have to be respected. If you don’t know that, you’ll probably need to go on a 5-star hotel somewhere else!

Room is clean. Food is good. It would be ideal if adding some chairs in the room.

Gîte is not exactly on the TMB route, but not very far from it either. Friendly welcome. Rooms are very neat and the sanitary areas are also very clean. Gîte is not too big: I think 30 walkers is about the max (not counted exactly). That makes it fun. There are some friendly requests posted there, including not to take too long a shower and to put away your things. Owner has little sympathy for people who take long showers. In itself he is of course right given the fact that resources in the Alps are limited. Food was - as others write - delicious!! Overnight stay is definitely recommended!

great place run by a charming gentleman who sends chill vibes in all directions and makes everyone eat a _lot_ in the dinner table. a supermarket about 1km away is a bonus for TMB'ers.

Very nice and simple accommodation, the owner really gives everything! There is only a deduction for the rooms because you shouldn't have any illusions about bunk beds, but as a group it's no problem!
