Excellent overall: the welcome, the very generous portions, and the very good quality and quantity of the food.

The BEST tartiflette – by far – of the three I got to try in the French Alps. This was a stand-out tartiflette with amazing flavor & texture. My companion ordered this, and I wished I had as well (in *addition* to the tête de veau, not instead of)! I absolutely loved the menu, the service, and above all the food here. There’s so much incredible food in this region, but whether you’re in the right restaurant to fully experienced that can be quite hit-or-miss. The complimentary herbed popcorn served before we ordered was delicious – something I’d love to recreate at home! They also comped my shot of genepy, which was unexpected & so kind – a lovely introduction to the regional digestif! Every local I encountered in Bourg Saint Maurice was incredibly kind. We loved sitting outside with views of this beautiful street. We were fortunate to arrive just as they opened for the evening, when it was easy to get a table for two.

Incredible experience. Impeccable service. We had the fondue and it was absolutely delicious! The small crème brûlée for dessert was also very good.

A delightful experience. A warm welcome and very kind professionals, attentive to their customers' well-being, delicious and generous cuisine (the carrot tatin was a wonderful discovery!), all in a beautiful setting! I highly recommend it.
