01/04/2024: The work having just finished, we were welcomed very warmly, and accompanied to our room, overlooking a panoramic view of the Bandol vineyards. The spa was “an entry” before we escaped for a massage that was as relaxing as it was soothing. For dinner, the first following the work, all the staff worked with dedication to ensure that all the customers, around twenty, were pampered and enjoyed the moment. Whether it was the reception staff, the sommelier, the waitresses and waiters, everyone was as present as they were discreet, always attentive to the smallest details, with a few words to help us have a wonderful evening. The meal was excellent from start to finish, even if it was a bit long in the waiting, which we quickly forgot given the investment of the waitresses and waiters in serving us well. At breakfast the welcome was even more pleasant than the day before, each staff member caring about our night, knowing if it was good and serving us a full breakfast. Some staff seem to need to acquire experience and mastery, things which should happen quickly as their involvement is obvious. We highly recommend La Maison Bérard, freshly renovated, warm and welcoming.
