Le Relais 21 sur Mouhet

At 9:00 PM on Tuesday, the parking lot was almost full, with just a couple of spaces left. A perfect example of what a French roadside restaurant should be! A warm and homey atmosphere, smiling and fast waitresses, friendly bartenders! I especially want to commend the chefs for their delicious dishes and beautiful presentation—I kissed their hands! A young man who speaks Ukrainian works in the kitchen.

Excellent roadside rest stop, the food is very good, the atmosphere is warm, private parking is available and the establishment has showers, toilets, all the necessary comforts, I recommend it, don't hesitate to pay it a visit.

We had a super evening meal here. 3 courses from a reasonable choice, all cooked well. My little dog was accepted without hesitation. Although not fully air conditioned, it was an acceptable temperature given that outside it was 35 degrees! Service was very pleasant and English was spoken if needed. We didn't book but there was plenty of tables on this occasion - however we have been multiple times before and it has been very busy!
