We had a lovely dinner as a couple at this restaurant, which had a very friendly atmosphere and tasteful decor.
The dishes were excellent, generous, and beautifully presented.
The service was impeccable, perfectly paced—neither too fast nor too slow—with discreet attentiveness from the waitstaff.

My advice: eat before you go!
The portions are ridiculous. I ordered the ravioli, which were delicious, but for €30, I didn't expect there to be only four on my plate. The Grand Marnier soufflé is wonderful!
The waitress is the queen of the sour face; she must have left her smile in bed that morning. For a table of 10, there was only one menu to choose from for aperitifs. By the time it came back, everyone hadn't chosen, as it took a while to get through the menu. The same thing happened with the sushi menu, which half the table didn't even have time to look at.
On the other hand, the ingredients are excellent; you can tell they're fresh, but they're far too expensive for my taste.
I left with an exorbitant bill and still hungry.
This isn't a place I'd recommend if you're planning on having a full meal.

My sea bass baked in a salt crust was exceptional! We came for a hen party and thoroughly enjoyed the refined French cuisine and the warm atmosphere. The service was a little slow between courses, but this didn't detract from the overall experience. I highly recommend it!

We were expecting a delicious calf's head. Unfortunately, that wasn't really the case… the dish was generous, but the calf's head was dry, as if it had been left in the microwave too long without a cover. A real shame for a restaurant like this.
Also, I was very disappointed with the mojito, which was initially served without cane sugar, with lemon (it should have been lime!), and after asking for more sugar, the mojito arrived with four ants on top… not great… even though, of course, it was replaced.
Despite these inconveniences, no compensation was offered.

Le Relais de Barbizon is an establishment that has preserved the traditions of fine dining, which I am always delighted to rediscover.
The service is impeccable, with attentive staff, a presentation of the fish and other meats to the guests before carving, and a chef who prepares all the fish dishes right in the dining room (filling, carving, etc.). I really appreciate this traditional touch, which is becoming increasingly rare these days.
A concise menu offers enough choice for everyone to find something they enjoy.
The dishes are flavorful and beautifully presented. I recommend the fish, which is incredibly fresh, and the sea bass, prepared in a salt crust (a delight, cooked to perfection).
The desserts bring this gastronomic journey to a close with a sweet treat that delights the palate. A truly wonderful culinary experience that I highly recommend.
