Le Relais De Beaufort sur Beaufort

We came this Sunday at lunchtime and received a warm welcome. The setting is lovely and the atmosphere is pleasant. The dishes were good and the portions were generous. One small drawback: the chocolate mousse was too sweet, but I'll gladly return 😋🥳☺️ A big plus for the allergen list ✨ Thank you for thinking of it. ☺️😌

The staff were incredibly attentive, the portions were truly generous, a real treat! I highly recommend it.

The setting was beautifully decorated, the tables were arranged nicely, and the welcome was warm. We had the set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) and everything was perfect: lovely presentation, and the wine was reasonably priced. Impeccable service.

We stopped by just before the two-week winter break... and the service was superb, the meal was very "tasty"... we extended the experience at home with some takeaway dishes! Fantastic! And above all, so delicious!

Not great, it's changed compared to before

Endless wait... arrived at 1:15 p.m. - the aperitif is over and still no appetizers... so we order another bottle of champagne... 3:15 p.m. our starter finally arrives... but the children still haven't eaten (even though we had asked at the beginning of the service for them to be served first....) The waitress apologizes, apparently there's a cook missing... The children's plates arrive: fried salmon without even a little sauce on the fish or a small dash of parsley... this isn't a brasserie! 4:15 p.m. the dishes finally arrive... after a round of empty plates, everything is unanimously excellent... cheese, desserts, coffee... without a single false note. The quality makes up for the wait. Suffice it to say that the food service was the major problem of the day... still quite sad for an organization like the Relais de Beaufort. At the end of the meal, we pay, share our comments, and The chef told us that reservations had been in full swing this morning... Shouldn't we simply refuse a few covers to ensure the staff's peace of mind and the customer's well-being??? We still spent five hours at the table... Thank you all the same for treating our taste buds.

A disgrace! The poor staff can't do anything about it... I know them well, having been a loyal customer for years under the previous owner. I've always been satisfied, but now... seeing the "so-called" owner washing glasses and doing NOTHING ELSE...!! Clearly not knowing how to do anything else, since she asked one of her employees to prepare the bill!!!! She didn't even bother to apologize for the late service, because they were short-staffed... One could understand and excuse her if the owner had warned us at the beginning of the meal. I should point out that I wasn't the only table complaining... However, the meal was good, but I hope the owner will ensure that people are satisfied in the future and, above all, that there is a proper dining room manager! It would break my heart to see this restaurant, which I used to love so much, go down the drain.

Disappointed, I won't be coming back here. We ate well, but very standard things without any great cuisine behind them (for example, slices of smoked salmon, or the now hated Provençal tomato); the prices, however, were worthy of a semi-gastro... Average and outdated standard.

Attentive staff...refined cuisine...quality dishes...magnificent setting...recommended...
