I booked at short notice as a stopover, because I had read very good reviews (especially for the table). A big detour from the A75, which is worth it if you're out for a walk. The place is isolated and that's charming, it has a history and I like that. The boss put me in a very nice room (upgraded). The lamb sweetbreads with mushrooms as a starter, sublime. The rum baba out, worthy. On the other hand, the piece of Aubrac beef (which should be the centerpiece of the menu)...tough, flavorless and not even pretty to look at. Given the late hour, this may be the last piece left, but in this case, the chef should refrain from serving it. As for the person serving, she can of course chat with her known customers, that's also the charm of the place, but not to the point of excessively neglecting a passing customer. Very pleasant welcome from the owner and we can sense in his attitude that he is passionate about the history of this place. I will come back with great pleasure!
