The Relais is located in the heart of the Viré-Clessé region, in the village of Viré. We chose the hotel as our second stop on our journey home from Brittany. After booking online, we also reserved a table for dinner by email. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the two owners. Charging our electric car was also easy and possible at a fair price. We were delighted with the accommodation – a booked junior suite – and the nearby caterer is also highly recommended. Our anticipation of dinner grew by the minute, and we were not disappointed: We decided to order all five courses of the suggested menu. The maître de cuisine personally served each course and explained the origin and preparation of the dishes. The food was exquisite. We also received expert assistance with the wine selection – upon request, they even brought out a slightly older vintage from the cellar. The next morning, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast before continuing our journey. We're glad we ignored the occasional negative comments – and we'd love to come back.

We took the Savor Burgundy package and will keep an unforgettable memory of this moment of retreat in the intimacy of this adorable host. The tasting was a true encounter with the winemaker and the terroir. The massages transported us into a dream. The dinner lived up to its reputation, between discovery and classicism, Chef Carrion is a master. The room is very comfortable. Beyond that, it was a meeting, a sharing, a passage in our lives. A small producer of noble products in the hospitality field ^^

A true gem! Warm and professional welcome from Frédéric and Sophie, who know how to create a home-like atmosphere. Charming, impeccably maintained art deco rooms and refined cuisine featuring fresh produce (special mention for the exceptional Bresse chicken!). A generous and delicious breakfast. A peaceful setting, ideal for a stopover or a quiet stay. Congratulations to the hosts for this wonderful place to remember!
