For over 15 years we've been coming to Le Relais de Piau, winter and summer alike, and it's always fantastic! The food is consistently delicious, with a special mention for the royal garbure, of course 😋, and the owners are genuinely wonderful! After the terrible storms that hit the restaurant, you bravely bounced back and reopened – well done! And congratulations on the new decor, 10/10 😉. As you can see, we never miss an opportunity to come and see you! See you very soon!

Great place to stay if you want to ski because it is at very convenient distance from 4 ski resorts. Wonderful cuisine, an absolute must try! Free parking and comfortable rooms. Relaxing atmosphere.

The staff are very friendly. The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. The breakfast, although basic, was fine.

Cecilia is lovely! 🌸🌸🌸 The traditional cuisine is fantastic, using only seasonal and local products!
The Garbure (cabbage and bean stew) is amazing!!!
The dining room is beautifully decorated and there's a fireplace!!!… The photos of the restaurant's interior on Google don't do it justice!
The road from St. Lary to this restaurant is always clear and there's a large parking lot.
The establishment is run by the same family, from mother to daughter!
Remember to book.

The menu was excellent. The quantity and quality were superb, especially for the price.
However, we were greeted by a rather aggressive woman (I think she was the cook's mother). When we ordered, she answered our questions in a borderline aggressive tone, and the service was incredibly slow! Luckily, the tables next to us gave us their bread, otherwise we wouldn't have been able to eat our starters.
It's a real shame because the setting is authentic and the food was very good. I won't be going back; I didn't appreciate the welcome or the waitress's attitude.
