The food was very good, and the wine list was decent.
My personal opinion is that the à la carte prices are as high as those of a Michelin-starred restaurant (like, for example, the Hotel d'Angleterre, a 30-minute drive away). Le Clos de Mutigny, barely an hour's drive away, offers the same cuisine in a similarly lovely setting for more attractive prices; this is just my opinion.

First meal at this place, about twenty minutes from Reims. Impeccable service, very warm welcome. All the dishes were excellent.

Overall, the cuisine was very decent. However, the chef's attitude, as already described, was surprising, as he was a bit casual and made comments that were not justified.
Finally, the descriptions of the dishes were very minimalist. Without requiring a novel for each dish, a brief description would be welcome.
