Le Relais du Chateau sur Maintenon

The staff were very pleasant, and we had a good meal.

We stopped here for a quick coffee. We were greeted by a very pleasant and friendly young woman. We didn't eat, but the menu looked appetizing and the aroma coming from the kitchen was lovely. The location is excellent, right across from the castle. After reading other customers' reviews, I sincerely hope the older woman is kind to the young employee. She's lucky to have someone so motivated and pleasant representing the establishment.

The AI-generated drinks menu (probably GPT or Gemini) in such poor resolution is a real shame. You didn't even bother to look at the artifact, as there are places with duplicate items, and the "drawings" of the cocktails and drinks are completely unremarkable. A hand-drawn menu would have been better and more artisanal, especially since you don't change the drinks every other day. Edit following your reply: As a developer myself, AI is part of my job every day (I use it extensively). The point isn't to be against technology at all, but to have a minimum standard for the result. A restaurant menu doesn't "absolutely need AI" to exist, and if you choose to use it, you still need to proofread the document to avoid duplicates and degraded visuals. The tool doesn't replace the care or the identity of a place. I'm still raising my rating because you took the time to reply to me, and that's appreciated.

A warm and friendly welcome during a lovely afternoon snack ✨

I really like this restaurant. Good homemade food. The staff is pleasant. Their tarte tatin is a real marvel!

Tables too small, one tiny ramekin of sauce for two people! The presentation of the dishes was simple, the food tasteless.

A very pleasant evening, quick and friendly service. Thank you to the waitress for helping me translate a conversation I had with someone I met on the patio. My partner and I had a very enjoyable dinner. The pizza and meat were excellent. 👍

Excellent restaurant, welcoming staff, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant. We love eating there regularly and also just stopping by for a drink! Thank you Valérie and your entire team! Thierry, Isabelle and Sacha

A truly delightful inn, both for its staff and its location. The owner is incredibly attentive and even anticipates our needs. The food was excellent, and the ice cream sundaes were delicious. Thank you for this wonderful break, especially with the view of the castle to top it off. We will be back!

A friendly brasserie-style establishment, open until 10 pm, the staff is attentive to its customers, and the waitresses are all incredibly charming. The restaurant is run very professionally and energetically by Valérie, who advises and manages her team effectively. A special mention goes to the friendly Christelle, the waitress who ensures the cleanliness of the restrooms, a detail that reflects the quality and upkeep of an establishment. They are always spotless. I commend her for this, as these days not all customers are always clean in the public restrooms.
