Le Relais du Château sur Chalais

Congratulations to the new relay team at Château de Chalais. We really enjoyed ourselves this Sunday lunchtime, refined and original dishes from starter to dessert, a good wine recommended by the charming manager. A special note for the two-chocolate millefeuille with its ice cream accompanied by a parcel of parsley! Very original and delicious 😋 It’s really an address that I recommend to everyone and where we will return with pleasure.

A perfect family lunch! The place is magnificent. Everything we were able to taste was succulent and refined, from starter to dessert. The service was very pleasant! All this for a very reasonable price...We highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back.

What a wonderful castle, we received a private tour through all the rooms, where the guide could really tell everything with great enthusiasm. How nice this was.

Succulent dinner, copious and refined, very warm welcome, really friendly and fast service. We drank a very good local Charentes wine. We fully recommend this excellent address in Chalais in a magnificent historic setting.

We ate here at the weekend. New ownership, new menu and new standards. We had nice table out on the terrace. The fish is all fresh, creatively prepared and the desserts were genuinely excellent (especially the celery ice cream).
